Second half strikes again; Vols lose to Gators at Neyland

Second half strikes again; Vols lose to Gators at Neyland

Right up until the second half Saturday night, the incredible momentum that energized Knoxville for the past week seemed like it might be enough to carry the Tennessee Volunteers to a victory against the Florida Gators for the first time in eight meetings.

The Vols were up 14-10 in front of a sell-out crowd of more than 102,000.

But then the 2nd half happened to a team that's had some memorable 2nd half meltdowns in the past few years.

Then the Gators scored 27 points.

The first, though, to actually play in a game was Earl Lloyd who now lives just outside of Crossville.

Darin' Erin: Learnin' the ropes

Darin' Erin: Learnin' the ropes

I really need to stop listening to Photographer JJ when he says he has a really good idea.

After we tumbled through FlipFest John Mcready invited me to try the ropes course.

Well it can't be that bad they have a bajillion little kids doing it.

Well boys and girls I was wrong. As soon as I had to climb past the ladder I knew I was in trouble. Plus all I could hear was Photographer JJ laughing and my "guide" Harry telling me that "little kids do this all the time!"
