Cranberry Glaze

1 can whole berry cranberry sauce

Equal amount Bennett's chili sauce

1 Heaping TBS apricot preserves

1/2 tsp. allspice


Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.

Chicken Breast:

Brown chicken in a skillet with oil. Pour topping over chicken; let simmer 5 minutes more. Serve

Cumberland County third grader finally gets zoo trip


(WBIR, Knoxville) - A Cumberland County third grader finally got to go on a field trip to the zoo Thursday after he was not allowed to go on the class trip two weeks ago.

The Knoxville Zoo welcomed Holdan Crawley and his family Thursday morning.

They spent the day getting the VIP treatment. Holdan got to meet Einstein the parrot, feed the giraffes, and pet the tortoises.

Pam Flowers, Holdan's grandmother, says the trip was an incredible experience.

Cumberland teen dies in car crash on the way to school


A local community is mourning the loss of a teenager who died in a car crash on his way to school Tuesday morning.

Crossville Police say he was involved in a t-bone crash on Highway 70 in Crossville.

Teachers and administrators described Allen as a quiet young man with a good group of friends

"He was very well liked. He was never in any trouble. Just a good young man. Just a tragic loss for our school and for his family especially," said principal John hall.

TBI: former Fentress chamber director misused credit card


The former director of the Fentress County Chamber of Commerce is now charged with using the chamber's credit card for his personal use.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says Walter A. Page, Jr.,69, of Clarkrange, used the card to purchase a washing machine for his residence, jewelry for his wife, Christmas decorations and gifts, wine, online movie accounts, and several other personal items.

The TBI says the fraudulent purchases date back to 2012.
